I'm still expecting it to blow up or something in a kind of karmic readjustment of the universe but for now it's awesome.
Next up is my final project in wood. It's going be a chair, and hopefully it is also going to be awesome.
Also with some scrap materials I received I'm hoping to make another piece as an independent project- maybe I'll make it my final for ideation so I get some incentive to actually work on it.
Other thing to note, I got ALL of the classes I wanted for next semester- my schedule includes Soft Furniture, Theories and Methodologies of Furniture, the computer modeling/making workshop, Intaglio printing (so I have something to do outside the shop occasionally) and the Body in Art and Visual Culture.
3 of those classes are on wednesday, so I'm pretty much in class from 9:30 a.m to 9:00 p.m that day, but it's balanced out by a 4 day weekend of saturday-sunday-monday-tuesday. I think I can handle it. Plus I get to have another class with George Mahoney (AKA the greatest teacher I've had since graduating from Perpich), so that should be awesome.
Things are lookin' up Ian.
That's all for now- IAN OUT!
